Several Unlicensed Drivers Involved in Accidents

Arrests reported in Elmhurst through May 17.

 

Driving with a Suspended License

Javier R. Cornejo, 29, 1557 Irving Park Road (town not provided), was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident after the green Mercury Grand Marquis he was driving hit a guard rail at Roosevelt and Route 83 at 5:33 p.m. May 13.

Stevi A. Hayes-Lawton, 19, 716 W. Roy Drive Apt. 1B, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her silver Mitsubishi Eclipse for a loud muffler at North and Ardmore at 1:25 a.m. May 15. She was released on bond.

Monique D. Munoz, 38, 1136 Pleasant, Oak Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her red Volkswagon Jetta for disobeying a stop sign at Cottage Hill and Eggleston at 4:23 p.m. May 16. She was released on I-bond.

Juan Castillo, 47, 1326 President, Glendale Heights, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his gray Hummer at North and Villa at 10:30 p.m. May 17. He was released on bond.

Driving Without a License

Fernando Blas, 39, 435 Green Oaks Court Apt. 1, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after the gray Chevrolet Malibu he was driving was involved in an accident with a 50-year-old Lombard man at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 10:15 p.m. April 28.

Alvaro Rios, 38, 1713 W. Division, Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his silver Volkswagon Jetta for one headlight at Maple and First Street at 8:44 p.m. May 4. He was released on bond.

Cornelio Molina, 22, 2516 N. Kedzie, Chicago, was cited for driving without a license and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident after his silver Honda Civic was involved in an accident with a 52-year-old Indiana man on the 100 block of East North Avenue at 3:34 p.m. May 10.

Edward Guinn, 48, 386 N. Ridgeland Apr. 3, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his white Dodge Caravan for disobeying a stop sign at West and Grantley at 3:58 p.m. May 14. He was released on bond.

Jhoanna Y. Perez, 25, 464 W. Touhy Ave., Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her silver Chevrolet Malibu for improper lane use on the 300 block of North Route 83 at 6:12 p.m. May 15. She was released on bond.

Claro M. Velasquez. 22, 16W565 Second Court, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after the black Toyota 4-Runner he was driving was involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by a Villa Park resident at 600 W. North Ave. at 6:11 p.m. He was released on bond.

Gerardo Gabriel, 27, 528 Carriage Drive, West Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Mercury Mountaineer for driving on the shoulder at North Avenue and Route 83 at 4:14 p.m. May 17. He was released on bond.
