The storm that blew through Elmhurst Saturday, Aug. 4, brought some much needed rain, but it also brought tragedy for one Elmhurst family, whose home caught on fire after a lightning strike.

Tuesday: Isolated thunderstorms with a high of 91 degrees. Chance of rain is 30 percent. Expect a low of 71 degrees.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy and a high of 85, with a 10 percent chance of rain. Low will be 68 degrees.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of scattered thunderstorms with a high of 84 degrees by day and a low of 65 at night.

Friday: The weekend kicks off under mostly sunny skies and high temperatures in the upper 70s. No rain is expected. The low will be 63.
