Revoked, Suspended, Nonexistent: Elmhurst Police Report Nearly 50 License Violations in One Month
Arrests reported in Elmhurst Oct. 29 through Nov. 29.
Elmhurst police made nearly 50 arrests for license violations during a one-month period from Oct. 29 through Nov. 29. November also concluded the latest stepped-up DUI enforcement campaign, which put extra officers on the streets during the overnight hours Nov. 12-25.
Driving with a Revoked License
Margarito Barrera, 48, 611 N. Meadows Blvd. Apt. 3D, Addison, was arrested and charged with driving with a license revoked for DUI after police pulled over her black Toyota Camry for improper right turn at Grand and County Line Road at 5:21 a.m. Oct. 29. Barrera was released on bond and the vehicle towed for forfeiture.
David A. Lopez, 27, 1004 Argyle St. Apt. 9A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license, possession of a fake identification card and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Chrysler 300 for tinted windows at North and River Glen at 1:40 a.m. Nov. 13. He was released on bond and his vehicle held for forfeiture.
Mario Garcia, 29, 1803 N. 33rd Ave., Stone Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Chevrolet Astro for speeding at North and Berteau at 8:25 a.m. Nov. 27. He was released on bond.
Matthew P. Halm, 22, 739 Brighton Lane, La Grange, was arrested and charged with driving with a revoked license after police pulled over his gray Chevrolet Silverado for no valid registration at Butterfield and Poplar at 4:12 a.m. Nov. 28. He was released on bond.
Driving with a Suspended License
Ana I. Martinez, 38, 1507 N. 16th Ave., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over her gray Nissan Altima for driving without headlights at Lake and Walnut at 1:04 a.m. Oct. 29. Police also discovered she had a warrant out of Franklin Park. She was released on bond.
Arthur S. Haraldsen, 30, 2222 S. Stewart, Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving with a license suspended for DUI after police pulled over his black Honda Civic for a loud muffler and tinted windows at Butterfield and York at 10:17 a.m. Oct. 30. He was released on bond and the vehicle towed for forfeiture.
Victor A. Hernandez, 27, 454 Oak St., Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his tan Ford F150 for tinted windows at Route 83 and St. Charles Road at 10:17 p.m. Nov. 1. He was released on bond.
Alejandro Juarez, 32, 5507 W. 25th Place, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Ford Ranger for improper lane use at North and West at 8:40 a.m. Nov. 2.
Kenneth E. Teague, 31, 1023 N. Austin Blvd., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Pontiac Grand Prix for speeding at North and Willow at 12:20 a.m. Nov. 3. He was released on bond.
Arkadiusz Wadolowski, 30, 33 Ottawa Court, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over a silver Dodge Ram for expired registration at North and Route 83 at 6:07 a.m. Nov. 3. He was released on bond.
Gerardo Delgado, 39, 3565 W. Belden Ave. Apt. B, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Ford Expedition for expired registration at North and Willow at 11 p.m. Oct. 3. He was released on bond.
Jesus A. Mendoza, 25, 1058 S. York Road Apt. 2C, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Mitsubishi Mirage for no headlights at Grand and Lake at 11:16 p.m. Nov. 4. He was released on bond.
Adam Bartnik, 25, 960 Beau Drive Unit 102, Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Nissan Sentra for no valid registration at York and Grand at 4:16 p.m. Nov. 5. He was released on I-bond.
Nemecio Escobedo, 39, 40363 N. Ruby, Schiller Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his silver Ford E250 for no plate light at 180 W. Grand Ave. at 5:01 p.m. Nov. 8. He was released on bond.
Stephen Moore, 21, 8601 S. Ada, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his green Chevrolet Cavalier for speeding at North and Larch at 8:19 a.m. Nov. 18. He was released on I-bond.
Francisco Moreno, 51, 255 Addison, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled him over for no seat belt at York and Interstate 290 at 9:40 a.m. Nov. 18.
Selvin Velasquez, 31, 515 LN Central, Wood Dale, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red GMC Yukon for no tail light at St. Charles and Route 83 at 10:32 p.m. Nov. 19. He was released on bond.
Rudy Max, 42, 5415 W. Parker, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Mitsubishi Lancer for failure to signal at North and Indiana at 6:06 p.m. Nov. 20. He was released on bond.
Francisco Ram Moreno, 51, 255 Addison, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police stopped his vehicle at Larch and North at 10 a.m. Nov. 21. Police recognized the vehicle from previous violations.
Humberto Sanchez, 38, 125 Gerry Stevens Apt. GB, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his gray Ford Econoline van at Route 83 and Grand Avenue at 12:25 p.m. Nov. 22. He was released on bond.
Celene Castillo, 43, 3309 Edgington St., Franklin Park, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and illegal transportation of alcohol after police pulled over her red Pontiac for no rear registration plate light at 5:11 p.m. Nov. 23 at North Avenue and Route 83. She was released on bond.
Matthew L. Hooker, 27, 1911 S. Sixth Ave., Maywood, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his orange Nissan Murano for disobeying a traffic control device at Butterfield and Chatham at 3:16 a.m. Nov. 26. He was released on bond.
Harry J. Elliot, 25, 1802 Taft Ave., Berkeley, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his silver Cadillac SRX for tinted windows at York and Brush Hill at 7:50 a.m. Nov. 26. He was released on bond.
Enrique Ibarra, 41, 1233 S. 56th St., Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license after police pulled over his black Saturn SE for disobeying a stop sign at Third and Indiana at 10:47 a.m. Nov. 27. He was released on I-bond.
Salomon Ramos, 34, 110 Judson St. Apt. GB, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Oldsmobile Silhouette for one headlight at North Avenue and Route 83 at 4:27 a.m. Nov. 28. He was released on bond.

Jorge Chavez, 24, 112 Bridget Apt. 1B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Mazda Protege for expired/suspended plates at Grand and Industrial Drive at 5:58 p.m. Oct. 29. He was released on bond.
Leida E. Sanchez, 21, 8 W. Plymouth Apt. 8U, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over a green Chrysler 300 for driving without headlights at 209 N. York Road at 9:23 p.m. Nov. 2. Sanchez was released on bond.
Edgar A. Marrufo, 27, 5711 S. Claremont, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled him over for speeding at Roosevelt and York roads at 8:16 a.m. Nov. 4.
Antonio Obando, 36, 2743 72nd, Elmwood Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Nissan Xterra for expired registration at Grand and County Line Road at 6 p.m. Nov. 6.
Alejandro Morales, 35, 8542 W. Argyle, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his red Mitsubishi Outlander for suspended registration at Grand and County Line Road at 9:21 p.m. Nov. 6. He was released on bond.
Guadencia Merino-Deaquino, 43, 860 Foxworth Blvd. Apt. 105, Lombard, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after Merino-Deaquino's green Plymouth Voyager was involved in an accident at St. Charles Road and Route 83 at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 7.
Rogelio Gonzalez-Martin, 32, 5514 W. 25th, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police responded to a report of a suspicious auto on the 100 block of East Cayuga at 10:31 p.m. Nov. 7.
Cody W. Golz, 18, 717 S. Villa, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after his white Ford Explorer was involved in an accident with a vehicle driven by a 56-year-old Chicago man at North Avenue and Route 83 at 4:33 p.m. Nov. 9.
Martha A. Hita, 21, 508 Englewood, Bellwood, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her Chevrolet Equinox for making an illegal U-turn at St. Charles and Interstate 290 at 7:56 a.m. Nov. 10. She was released on I-bond.
Olegario Garcia, 34, 24 S. 46th Ave., Bellwood, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police stopped his blue Chevrolet Trailblazer for no plate light at North and Melrose at 8:39 p.m. Nov. 10. He was released on bond.
Elizabeth Aguirre, 24, 408 W. Touhy Lot 59, Des Plaines, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over her black Nissan Altima for tinted windows at York and Palmer Drive at 3:25 p.m. Nov. 11. She was released on bond.
Fabiano Salazar, 25, 1621 Michigan Apt. 101, Villa Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his Silver Nissan Altima for tinted windows at Roosevelt Road and Route 83 at 2:39 a.m. Nov. 12. He was released on bond.
Lee A. Giletta, 22, 254 N. Fourth St., Aurora, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after Giletta's blue Ford Windstar drove into a ditch at York and Roosevelt roads at 5:47 a.m. Nov. 12. Daniel E. Hankins, 21, of the same address, was found hiding under blankets in the rear of the van. He was arrested on a warrant out of Kane County for attempted forgery and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Daniel Cruz, 24, 1413 LeMoyne St., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Chevrolet Astro for speeding at St. Charles and Route 83 at 10:28 a.m. Nov. 17. He was released on I-bond.
Vincente Castula, 49, 3150 Sutherland Ave., Indianapolis, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police received a call for a suspicious vehicle on the 500 block of North Michigan at 5:09 p.m. Nov. 17. Castula was found in a black Kia Spectra. He was released on bond.
Julio Leonel Ramos, 21, 1064 W. Irving Park Road Apt. 1B, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his blue Ford Explorer for driving the wrong way on a one-way street at York and Palmer Drive at 6:37 p.m. Nov. 18. He was released on bond.
Thomas Correa-Gutierre, 35, 6022 N. Wolcott Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his gray Dodge Dakota for expired registration at York and Crestview at 12:03 a.m. Nov. 19. He was released on bond.
Alexander Serna-Serna, 20, 2242 S. 61st Court, Cicero, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after his white Toyota Corolla was involved in an accident with a 16-year-old Glen Ellyn resident at Roosevelt and Commonwealth at 3:35 p.m. Nov. 20. Serna also was cited for disobeying a stop sign.
Armando Ibarra, 38, 1501 32nd St., Melrose Park, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his silver Chevrolet Trailblazer for disobeying a traffic control device at North and York at 3:44 p.m. Nov. 20. He was released on bond.
Jaime L. Montezuma, 39, 3440 W. Leland Ave., Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his white Chevrolet Express for disobeying a "Do Not Enter" sign at Salt Creek School on Riverside Drive at 4:01 p.m. Nov. 21. He was released on I-bond.
Hugo Tomas, 23, 1051 Ferrari Apt. 1A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over his silver Subaru Legacy for expired registration at 920 N. York at 8:41 p.m. Nov. 21. He was released on bond.
Carlos Garcia, 33, 218 Sonny Lane Apt. 1A, Bensenville, was arrested and charged with driving without a license after police pulled over his green Chevrolet Cavalier on the 900 block of Industrial Drive at 9:11 p.m. Nov. 25. He was released on bond.
Amanda Ortega-Morales, 28, 3027 S. Lawndale, Chicago, was arrested and charged with driving without a license and driving without insurance after police pulled over her blue Dodge Durango for improper lane use at York and Third at 5:49 a.m. Nov. 28. She was released on bond.
