Retail Theft Arrests
Judith R. Brandow, 67, 463 S. Harvard Ave., Villa Park, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly was seen removing items from Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, without paying for them at 6:36 p.m. Dec. 18. She was released on I-bond.
Brittany Klein, 22, 610 Lalonde, Lombard, was arrested and charged with retail theft after taking $31 worth of clothing from Kmart, 265 S. Route 83, and attempting to leave the store without paying. She was released on I-bond.

Deborah Decker, 41, 40 Prairie Drive, Addison, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly stole jewelry and clothing worth $187.41 from Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, at 5:43 p.m. She was released on bond.
Chastity J. Bandy, 40, 2638 Luis, Franklin Park, and a 17-year-old Franklin Park girl were arrested and charged with retail theft after they allegedly removed several items from Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, without paying for them at 8:46 p.m. Dec. 19. Bandy also was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. They were released on bond.

Maria McElya, 42, 6724 Lakeshore Apt. 4, Westmont, was arrested and charged with retail theft after she allegedly removed $618 in clothing from Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, with paying for it. She fled the scene before officers arrived, but Westmont officers arrested her and transported her to Elmhurst. She was released on bond.
Warrant Arrests
Jason R. Schultz, 38, 550 Edgewood, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County after police found him sleeping on the fourth floor of the parking deck, near the elevators, at 175 W. First St. at 7:52 a.m. Dec. 21. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Andrew Nelson, 21, 267 May St., Elmhurst, was arrested on a warrant out of Oak Brook for a theft case at 9:45 a.m. Dec. 23. He was picked up by Oak Brook police.
Laura Tharp, 23, 510 Wisconsin, Oak Park, was arrested on a warrant out of DuPage County for failure to appear after she surrendered at the Elmhurst police station at 11:10 a.m. Dec. 23. She was released on bond with a new court date.
