Fall Fest and Safety Town trick-or-treating have been canceled for Saturday, Oct. 13, due to predicted inclement weather, according to a Friday press release from the Elmhurst Park District. Ghosts and goblins just really can't get wet.
But pre-Halloween fun is not a complete washout for kids.
All the fun of Fall Fest (without weather worries) can be found at Halloween Town at Wagner Community Center Saturday, Oct. 27. Kids up to age 9 with their parents are welcome to attend the early session, from 3 to 5 p.m., and kids 10 and up can enjoy some night-time fun from 7 to 9 p.m. Cost of $10 includes trick-or-treating, carnival games, inflatables, a haunted house, a visit from Ronald McDonald, a costume contest and more.
Register at Wagner Community Center before the event. For more information, call (630) 993-8901. And, don’t forget the costumes!
