Lucas Clay Jewett, 17, of Elmhurst, died Jan. 9.

Lucas was the dear son of Kathy Jewett and Timothy Jewett; brother of Eli; grandson of Kenneth and Karen Fanderclai, and Robert and (the late) Marolyn Jewett. He also is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lucas had limited ability because of his special needs, yet he touched many people's lives. As an organ donor, he continues touching people's lives.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 125 W. Church St., Elmhurst. The service will be followed by a time of visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Easter Seals DuPage, 830 S. Addison Ave., Villa Park, IL 60181.
