Man Ticketed After Driving Over Wet Cement

Four others ticketed for speeding to failure to yield.

A Villa Park man drove his vehicle over wet cement in a construction area at West Avenue and St. Charles Road at about 4:46 p.m. June 4 causing tire tracks that were fixed by a contractor. Silverio Reyno, 63, of 20 N. Wisconsin was ticketed for disobeying construction signs and failure to yield in a work zone.

Ruben Ramirez, 38, of 340 E. Alden Drive in Addison, was ticketed for failure to yield while turning left after Elmhurst police said his car collided with a Melrose Park man’s vehicle at Lake and Walnut at about 11:37 a.m. June 4.

A Franklin Park man, Rafael Bravo, 37, of 3210 Ernst St. was ticketed for violating the median and no valid driver’s license after he was involved in a three-car collision on the 100 block of east North Avenue at about 3:15 p.m. June 4, according to Elmhurst police.

Stopped for speeding on westbound St. Charles Road between Fair and Holly at about 4:43 p.m. June 4, an Arlington heights man was found not to have a valid driver’s license, police said. Angelito Leyva, 22, of 2232 W. Nichols Road was ticketed.

A 42-year-old Culver, Ore., man, Jay K. Keepes, was ticketed for having no proof of insurance after his vehicle collided with a Northlake man’s car at North Avenue and Route 83 at about 6:07 p.m. June 4, according to Elmhurst police.
