Letter: Support Mark Mulliner for Mayor of Elmhurst
Residents who have lived in the 7th Ward for 51 years say their alderman is the only candidate qualified for the job of Elmhurst mayor.
We have been residents of Elmhurst's 7th Ward for 51 years. Mark Mulliner has been our alderman for the past 14 years, and we are proud to support his candidacy for mayor.
We know he works tirelessly in the best interests of not only his 7th ward constituents, but for all Elmhurst residents. Elmhurst needs now, more than ever, the leadership qualities and integrity Mark will bring to the office of mayor. Mark has the education, business background and civic experience as alderman, and the experience of serving on and chairing numerous committees, which makes him the one and only candidate to lead our community and to assure that Elmhurst continues to be the community in which we chose to live and raise our four children 51 years ago.
Please vote for Mark Mulliner in the April 9 election.

Your comment, that Mark is the "one and only" candidate rings untrue ! There are 3 candidates, for which I am thrilled, as compared to the other unopposed races, or positions, that no-one chose to run for. I salute Mr. Mulliner for his 14 years of service, and simply ask- What did he do in the first 14, that makes him deserving of election to Mayor? I Thank you for your active participation in the election process.
