Hungry? Try Our Featured Restaurant this Weekend
Roberto's provides an intimate atmosphere and traditional Italian favorites.
You could stand on a corner and look around until a restaurant sign draws you in. But we've got a better idea. Each week, Elmhurst Patch picks a great restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here's this week's choice:
ROBERTO'S RISTORANTE
Looking for great food and a romantic atmosphere? You'll find that—and a delicious, traditional Italian menu—at Roberto's Ristorante. The restaurant is practically an Elmhurst institution. It started out as a carryout pizza place several decades ago, and expanded to add a warm restaurant with a touch of elegance. Start off with a dozen clams, antipasto or brushetta, and follow that up with anything from seafood to veal to chicken, plus a wide selection of homemade pastas and sauces. Roberto's is a local favorite, and you'll often find businesspeople relaxing after a tough day at the friendly bar.
