Looking into backyard, drifts are 5 feet in some areas
Not going anywhere any time soon!
Our youngest (and craziest!) Lab, Lovie thrilled to be out playing in the drifts.
Our oldest Lab, Zeke, not so thrilled with all this snow as he did when he was young. Had to go rescue our other Lab out from a snow drift moments after this.

Not only is the groundhog not going to see his shadow today, Brookfield Zoo has decided to not even let him out to try. In fact, the whole zoo is closed and all activities are canceled due to the blizzard.

Is anyone daring to venture out for work or play today? Have you had any luck digging out your car? Has a plow touched your street? Did your dog all but disappear this morning during his regular outing? Do you have wind damage?

Send your blizzard photos to karenc@patch.com or upload them here. I've started things off with a nice, safe view out my front window. More to come.

Thank you Debbie. He's pretty hard core—not even wearing a coat!
