Everyone is buzzing about Art in the Park this weekend, May 5 and 6, and certainly the local watering holes will be welcoming all for sangria and margaritas to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. But that's not all that's happening. Just check out our weekend calendar listing.

What/When: Friday Night at the Museum Panel Discussion, 6:30 p.m. Friday at Elmhurst Art Museum, 150 S. Cottage Hill Ave.
Why go: After a busy week, enjoy a bit of stimulation and relaxation during an up-close and personal interaction with talented artists.
What/When: Final weekend of Greenman Theatre's production of "The Matchmaker," 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday at First United Methodist Church of Elmhurst 232 S York Road.
Why go: Thornton Wilder's classic farce deals with wealthy widower Horace Vandergelder in search of a second wife at the turn of the 20th century in Yonkers, N.Y.
Cost: $17 for adults, $15 for students and senior citizens
What/When: Rotary Club Spring Planting Fund-raiser, 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Clover's Garden Center, 110 W. North Ave.
Why go: Buy your Mother’s Day Gift a week early.
Cost: Purchases with this coupon support the youth programs of the Moraine Valley Rotary.
What/When: Laughing Proud Comedy Fund-raiser for local charities, 8 p.m. Saturday at Fitz's Spare Keys, 119 N. York
Why go: Elmhurst Professional Fire Fighters Association will host the comedy showcase with some of Chicago's brightest new comedians. Everyone who buys a ticket will be entered into a raffle for a 50-inch LG HDTV.
Cost: $10 in advance, $15 at the door
What/When: York Student Council Senior Citizen Prom, 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at York High School Commons, 355 W. St. Charles Road
Why go: Ballroom Big Band will be featured, and refreshments will be provided at this annual event.
