Elmhurst Police Investigation Leads to Another Arrest for Heroin Thursday
This is the third arrest this month by Elmhurst police for delivery of heroin.
Elmhurst police made another arrest for delivery of a controlled substance Thursday following an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Police said Robert Brown, 19, 1124 N. Lockwood, Chicago, delivered 30 bags of heroin to the Extended Stay America parking lot, 550 Grand Ave., at 10:27 a.m. Oct. 18. Brown fled when he realized police were on scene, according to a police report.
He was charged with delivery of a controlled substance and resisting arrest, and was taken to DuPage County Jail.
This is the third arrest for delivery of heroin and other drugs by Elmhurst police this month. On Oct. 3, Charles J. Stainback and Ray L. Young, both of Bellwood, were arrested. And on Oct.11, Jerome Banks, also of Bellwood, was arrested.
Last month, Elmhurst police arrested Leonard Marzano of Woodridge after a drug transaction involving large amounts of cocaine and other drugs.
