Did You Hear Low-Flying Choppers in Elmhurst Wednesday Night?

Police in Forest Park say it was a training exercise.

Elmhurst residents, did you notice those low-flying helicopters buzzing just overhead, rumbling the neighborhoods Wednesday night?

"The only thing I can tell you is that it’s a training exercise between the United States military and the Forest Park Police Department," a Forest Park police official told Oak Park Patch.
