Child Suffers Brain Hemorrhage in Kohl's Parking Lot
13-year-old was airlifted to Children's Memorial Hospital.
Police on Sunday, Aug. 5, received a call for a 13-year-old having seizures in the parking lot of Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, at 3:30 p.m.
The victim's mother told police that her son had been complaining of a headache. She said she was planning to take him for something to eat when he began vomiting and seizing.
He was taken to the hospital, where they learned that he had suffered a brain hemorrhage. He was airlifted to Children's Memorial Hospital in Chicago.
His identity and further information on his condition has not been released.

Oh how frightening for this mother and her son. I hope and pray that everything is okay. Will there be a follow up story on this?

It's difficult to get health information because of strict privacy laws, but we'll see. The story was included on Patch because it happened in a public place. I echo your sentiment for the family.
