Berens Park's west playground was selected from a group of submissions to be featured in the March 2013 issue of the Landscape Architect & Specifier News. 

The Berens Park west playground 2012 redesign, spearheaded by Landscape Architect and Park Planner Jerry Pask and Assistant Park Planner Colleen McCarty, features up-to-date technology and play features, and is compliant with new playground safety standards and Americans with Disabilities Act accessibility guidelines.
