Applicant for Massage Therapist Position Ends Up With No-trespass Order
And graffiti does not look good on a Porsche.
The owner of Body & Soul Spa, 381 N. York Road, called police after a job applicant began acting irratically. The owner interviewed the offender for a massage therapist position Feb. 11. The woman subsequently called the owner twice, leaving voicemails demanding that a contract be sent to her for employment. When the owner told her she would not be hired, the offender became very upset and used profanity, police said. She was advised to have no further contact with the business and was issued a no-trespass order.
Someone sprayed orange paint on the passenger side, hood and trunk of a yellow Porche parked in the southwest corner of an apartment parking lot on the 800 block of North York between 10:30 p.m. Feb. 1 and 9:30 a.m. Feb. 2.
The front window of a home on the 100 block of North Glenview was broken with a landscaping brick, which was found laying on the living room floor at 6:43 p.m. Feb. 11. The home was searched, but nothing was missing. Damage to the home is estimated at $500.
Anthony Jaroscak, 22, 888 S. Hawthorne, Elmhurst, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after police pulled over his silver Hyundai Tucson for no rear registration plate light at 178 S. Kenilworth at 1:59 a.m. Feb. 13. He was released on I-bond.
Sam Marks, 52, 1675 Oakton, Des Plaines, was arrested on warrants out of Evergreen Park and Des Plaines at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Clarion Inn, 933 S. Riverside Drive. He was turned over to Evergreen Park police.
