Reboletti Named Floor Leader of House Republican Caucus
State Rep. Dennis Reboletti (R-Elmhurst) this week was named floor leader of the House Republican caucus by House Republican Leader Tom Cross.
Reboletti has served as the 46th District State Representative since 2007 representing communities in northeastern DuPage County. He is a lifelong resident of Elmhurst and has served on various governmental boards and positions in his community. He currently serves on various House committees including Judiciary Criminal Law which deals with legislation regarding drug and sex crimes.
“I am honored to take on the responsibility of being a Republican floor leader,” Reboletti said. “I will do my best to the raise the level of debate on the House floor to ensure my colleagues and the public have as much information as possible oneach bill being considered in the House.”
Recently, Reboletti was named as Republican Spokesperson for the Special Investigating Committee to investigate the federal bribery charges brought against State Representative Derrick Smith (D-Chicago).
“With Rep. Reboletti’s longtime experience as a prosecutor and heavy background in governmental affairs, Dennis will be a very effective Floor Leader,” Leader Cross said.
In addition to Reboletti, Leader Cross also named State Representatives Ed Sullivan (R-Mundelein) and Mike Bost (R-Carbondale) as floor leaders.
