Elmhurst resident Kathy Garlow, CPA and partner with Shepard Schwartz and Harris, was named a 2012 Woman to Watch by the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of CPAs.

This award is given to women in the CPA profession who have made significant contributions to the accounting profession, their organizations and the development of women as leaders. Kathy’s daily work encompasses all three requirements as demonstrated through her mentoring within the firm, professional involvement and vast network as well as her community involvement.
