On the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 14, Immaculate Conception Grade School in Elmhurst held its annual Christmas Pageant. 

This year, “Arrest These Merry Gentlemen,” a musical caper written by Steve Moore, Rob Howard and David Guthrie was incorporated into the production. 

This mystery involves a police sergeant in the town of Bethlehem working to keep the peace as he hears of wild excitement brewing over the birth of Christ. 

Students in all grades participated as actors and singers and performed before a packed audience in the IC gymnasium.  IC music teacher Mark Watson directed the children in song.  As is a tradition, eighth-grade students reenacted the nativity.
