The Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare board of governors introduced six new members and presented its Distinguished Service Award to Rae Rupp Srch, a long-time Villa Park resident with extensive involvement in community organizations as well as the hospital.

The award recognizes a governor for service to the hospital and the communities it serves. Srch is the former Villa Park village president, Chamber director, District 45 School Board president and member and president of the DuPage Mayors and Managers Conference. She is an active member of the Hospital Guild as well as a governor.

The six new governors are David Arch, chairman and CEO of Blistex, Inc., Oak Brook; John Michael Davis, managing director of real estate transactions at Cain Brothers, a Chicago investment banking firm; Heidi Jeffery, a partner in the Chicago law firm Foley & Lardner; Dr. Michael Martirano, a surgeon and former president of the hospital medical staff; Mary Alice Povolny, a clinical psychologist in Elmhurst; and Robert Robertson, Jr. of Elmhurst, a senior information technology systems consultant.
