Health’s Kitchen
ELMHURST, Ill. – Kids ages 4-7 can have fun learning how to make healthy and nutritious recipes that taste great. The instructor will demonstrate how to cook and bake foods that taste good and are good for you. According to Susan Moores, MS, RD, a spokeswoman for the American Dietetic Association, cooking with kids can help get them interested in trying foods they might normally turn up their noses at. We will make a recipe to taste and enough to bring home to share with mom or dad. Health’s Kitchen takes place at The Hub at Berens Park from 4-6 p.m. on Friday, January 11, or Friday, February 8. Fee is $22 for members and $27 for non-members. For more information or to register, please call Courts Plus at (630) 833-5064.
