The Elmhurst Eagles 93 NFC Gold team, which entered the postseason as the #5 seed in the league, lost a heartbreaker in the 2012 Bill George Youth Football League (BGYFL) Superbowl on Sunday, Nov. 11, at Benedictine University.  Scoring in the final minutes of the game, Bartlett Raiders beat the Eagles in the Championship by a final score of 13-7.
