Elmhurst Art Museum offers many opportunities to help. Volunteers can greet visitors, give directions inside the museum, sell memberships, assist shoppers in the museum shop or work an exhibit opening reception or fund-raiser.

Assist with administrative, curatorial or fund development projects in the EAM offices. Provide clerical support for the museum with mailings, research and other functions related to exhibits and openings. Visitor services are typically two-hour shifts.

The museum also seeks docents. Attend a docent training to learn about a current exhibition and how to give tours to school groups and other visitors.

Maintenance projects include painting, cleaning and repair.
