Catholic Charities today announced that Dan Gibbons has been named Senior Development Officer for the agency. Gibbons will be responsible for managing major donors, corporate sponsors and identifying new funding sources in DuPage County.

Gibbons previously worked as the Executive Director of Chicago Anti-Hunger Federation.  He has nearly 30 years of non-profit experience in the human-needs area.  He is best known for the annual Dan Gibbons Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day in Elmhurst, which has raised over $2.7 million over the past 29 years.
